Anyone order it? I didn't order mine from HP , but I'm thinking of install one. Is the internal tuner more convenient? I have read some promising review about aftermarket tuners. For under $100.
Also the point where the tv logo is, is covered Is there a pin connection underneath or does tht have to be purchased? Can this be removed easily for connection to cable input? I'd like to be able to use this notebook as a DVR.

Internal tuners usually lack support for programs and such but yes it is more convenient.
An external USB tuner is better, but thats my opinion. -
I got the tuner with dv4. Weird that they don't offer this config option any more now. About the convenience, you have to use the included external HP antenna. For cable, you will have to hook up a adapter to convert the small pin to your average coaxial port, I hope they have the built-in coaxial port.

It should be renamed to HD Static and Noisey tuner lol

That could be the fault of where you live and the stations transmissions?
BTW, I can't get the 5 in 1 storage slot for the remote to open? -
Ah that's a tricky one. Push on it.

Its not worth the internal unless you are 10 miles from the towers.
-
Yes push on it with force and you will hear it click and it will pop out.

I'm such a silly thing, but I was afraid I'd break it. Thanks!I am. And I'd appreciate any brand suggestions?
