Is the battery life estimate there BS or can it actually reach 5.5 to 7 hours?

Second question, does HP have international warranty (or at least for Canada and the US)? I live in Toronto and would picking this up in Buffalo if I decide to get it. Not only is it $200 more expensive in Canada, but it also only comes with the 6-cell battery (Canada is the worst place for buying laptops).

Seems it has a 9-cell battery. It does have a smaller screen. I have a high-capacity 6-cell with my dv5t and a 9600m gt, it lasts about 2 hours and 45 minutes on "balanced mode" with screen all the way up and wireless ON and Bluetooth ON.

I'd say that laptop could last upto 4-4.5 hours just surfing the internet...remember it's a 9-cell so it will have a hump at the bottom.

There's a 14" Asus with an LED screen that really does last at least 5-6 hours...it claims 7 hours, but my friend gets about 6 - 6.5 hrs. just typing and surfing internet.
