Newegg is based in CA. You need to contact them to see about sales tax. The HP discounts are listed on their website. I have had my dv9000t for a couple of weeks and I love it.

What is the Link to buy the dv9000t off newegg? I'd like to buy it off there too if possible.

spitfire,
1: Best place to buy is www.COSTCO.com - 180 day return window... handy if you get a defective OR "problematic" unit and don't want to screw around with fighting with Hp to get it fixed.
Ask some of these guys in this thread for example if they had wished they had bought from COSTCO... : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=57325
2: Sales tax? Depends on the Vendor...
3: Without tax to WA? ... depends on the vendor... and you should really "pay" the tax so as to not to cheat your state out of needed tax...

Costco CTO link
CTO=Custom to Order... DIRECT from HP factory in CHINA 7-10 days to your door from time of order.

Some guy was asking the same thing in this thread... answer is within this post.

PS: Try returning a notebook to Newegg 180 days later...
Hope you get a "good' one, but any money you save by going thru someone that's cheaper than Costco is money poured down the drain if you don't.

Can you use HP Coupons at Costco?

Probably not. It doesn't hurt to try though.
