I just purchased HP DV6T (i7-2630QM and 6770M) few days ago and want to know how to check my bios and amd driver version? What is the most stable version for bios and amd driver? Any performance gain or bug fixed in the latest version of bios and driver? Thanks :D

To get the latest info on your machine, simply hold your fn key and hit esc

Latest bios f.1A can be found here:

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors) HP Pavilion dv7t-6100 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

This bios gives you the ability to go from dynamic switching to manual (much preferred by everyone)

    Latest drivers from HP here:

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver HP Pavilion dv7t-6100 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Everyone seems to be pretty pleased with these

Once both are installed...make sure that you have manual switching enabled in the bios. Then in Windows, you can assign AMD GPU to power and Intel for battery only. Much better performance that way...

Drivers for the dv6t and dv7t are the same as are the bios updates. You can also find these on your product download page or HERE:

You're definitely going to want to upgrade to F.1A BIOS. The fixed mode switching is necessary for accelerated OpenGL applications until AMD fixes the support for OpenGL in dynamic mode.
