My friend gave me his HP G6-1232SA 2011 laptop. The laptop originally has a stick of 4GB DDR3 1333mhz. I have two sticks of 2GB DDR3 1066Mhz from when I upgraded my Macbook Pro awhile ago. I was wondering which memory configuration is better.

    1. One stick of 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz and one stick of 2GB DDR3 1066MHz.
    2. Two sticks of 2GB DDR3 1066Mhz.
    3. Keep original configuration.

I'm using the laptop for web development, photoshop and playing games on steam. Mostly racing games and shooters.

    Thanks
