Which Hp laptops are going to get the 8600 and the 8400 GPU. I know the HP Pavilion dv9500t series is getting the 8600. Will the HP Pavilion dv6500t series get the 8400. i hope so because its in my price range. Also will an 8400 run Crysis. Thanks for any help.

I have read the 6500 should get it i think there are some speculations on whether or not the 2500 will get it.

The dv6500t and dv2500t series will receive versions of the 8400M gpu. I'm guessing the 2500 will only get the 8400 'G' version while the 6500 might get the 'GS' or 'GT' version.

Blame ATI/nVidia for the waits...they have yet to get mobile parts out, though they are already announced.

Yes, some HP notebooks will get the GeForce 8M dedicated option.
Yes, it will run Crysis, even if only at low specs.

I think the consensus is the the 8M cards will be available for ordering by early June 2007. No guarantees, though.
