I need to know if I can install a video card in my dv6000, because it just does not run things very well. If someone could help it would help a lot.

quick answer is no. Your dv600 has integrated graphics built into the board. You could try adding more ram, or if its out of warranty a better cpu but thats really difficult. Just put more ram in, yours probably only has 1gb if its an older one.

np, ram wise you may be limited to 2gb, but some people have flashed the BIOS to a newer version and been able to go up to 4. Other than that the only other advice I could give you video wise is to maybe see if there is a newer driver out, and try to cut down on the amount of stuff you have running in the backround to try to squeeze a little more speed for video applications. What kind of video card is in there? or just post your model number and I can look it up easy enough.
