Whenever I go to the properties menu of my computer and get to the system screen the display that should tell me the speed and amount of ram says not available
    Processor: Not Available
    Memory (Ram): Not Available

just wondering what i can do to make this stop happening i'd really like to see my specs.

How much RAM do you have? Is the hard drive light blinking a lot while this is going on?

Try a reboot, maybe a new BIOS. Also try to test your RAM using the memtest guide in my sig. Next would be to reinstall windows, then send it in for warranty repair.
