My gf is in the market for a new laptop. Unfortunately, you can't build to order here in the UK.

So we went shopping for computers the other day and there were two laptops she liked:
    - HP DV2535ea
    - Sony Vaio CR series (VGN-CR11S)

She needs a small laptop that is lightweight.

Being an HP fan, I told her to go with the DV2500. However, the UK ones are still on the older core 2 duo chips (T5450).

Does anyone know when they will have the T7100 or better on the DV2500 in the UK?

    TIA

No idea about when the dv2500 with the T7100 would be offered but the T5450 is a Santa Rosa based C2D just like the T7100.
