    Does the DV5t come with a wxga+ screen (1400x900) resolution as an option?

    In the US, I only see wxga(1280x800) or wxga+(1600x1050), wxga+ seem to have a number of resolutions associated with it, so it seems that HP chose to go with the higher wxga+ resolution. There are many members on this board that love the higher resolution

    Only options are 1280x800 and 1680x1050.

    My girlfriend has 1280 I have 1680.

    Imo, 1680x1050 is deff worth the extra money. I love the extra screen space. :)

    Probably not at the moment, but I went to staples today, and saw the hpdv5t with the lower wxga resolution, it was really good, except there was very limited space. In canada, i don't know where you can even find one with a higher resolution

    wxga+ should be added in soon?

    can anyone confrim?

    I agree. That's why I'm sending the one I'm typing on back (another one is on the way, September 4th) with the high resolution

    I have always used a desktop with a 1024x768 res.

    It took me a few days to get comfortable with this higher res. I would never go back to something smaller. :)

    Oh okay, thanks guys.

    im just worried higher resolution can make my eye sight worst because i currently have 325 prescription on both my eyes

    Don't think it'll make it worse(although, I'm not a MD), however, there are ways to tweak the dpi so that you can make things a little larger if you need to
