    Hello guys,
I recently bought a used Envy 14, and just wondering whether HP warranty travels with the laptop, or whether I have to ask the original owner to do a warranty transfer process. Thanks!

Use this page, and you can see if it's still under warranty. If so, there shouldn't be any problems.

If the warranty recently expired, you might want to check with the person you bought it from to see if you can get a copy of the original purchase receipt. Many times, if you don't have a dated receipt, the warranty will be one or two years from the date of manufacture. If a product has been sitting on shelf for a while before it was bought, you'd be stuck. But with a receipt, you would be sure the warranty would begin from the date of purchase.
