Is it necessary to have Windows XP Media Center Edition to make this tuner work, or will it work on Windows XP Pro? Thanks!

I'm guessing that it is for MCE only. Hauppague makes a USB TV Tuner that works with XP Pro though.

I can't really recommend ATI TV Tuner cards though...read my sig.

Yeah, I think the HP ExpressCard TV Tuner card requires XP MCE. Hauppage, ATI, Pinnacle and WinTV make decent TV Tuner cards which would work with XP Home or XP Pro.
