    I have had the HP vz5000 for over a month. I basically got it for school to have in class. Can anybody tell what else it can do, beside being wireless and typing papers. Can the tv tuned through the computer. Any programs I can buy yo make it more efficient? Thank you in advance for anyone help

    Well, in addition to all the normal things a computer can do, you can buy a remote control for use with the WinDVD program that comes with it. I use mine as a stand alone DVD player occasionally, and it's nice to have the remote. You can also use it to control the cursor, so you can generally operate Windows programs with it as well. I don't have a need for that, but maybe a salesperson making a pitch could use it.

    Basically, any other functions need to be done with hardware additions, i.e. recording TV signal a la Tivo.
