I couldn't resist the $799 price for the GeForce Go 7600 in the 17" HP dv9207us, so I purchased one from CompUSA on Monday...unfortunately, I've encountered two issues. I was hoping to get insight from the experts on these forums.

First, my left mouse button does not seem to work well. I need to press on it fairly hard for it to register/activate. Is there something that can be done about this or do I just have a defective laptop? The right button works very well, as it recognizes even the slightest amount of pressure.

Second, when the laptop is on and plugged in (not running on battery) and when I close and open the lid, the screen flickers on, off, and then on again. Is this normal? Someone mentioned that the screen is just refreshing itself, but the laptops I've used at work never seem to do this.

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I'm hoping for some advice. Thanks in advance.

the screen is normal... updating the driver might get this fixed...

the left button might just need a burn in... use it for a month ... if it does not give in... take it to the shop for repairs...
