i have a few questions/concerns listed in order of importance. I have a dv6000t with winXP

    1. some people are experience a low, high-pitched buzz with or without being connected to the outlet. is there a way to get rid of this? i have noticed that when i switch the wireless tab (located bottom left of the laptop near the headphone jacks) the buzz temperarily goes away for a minute or two, then comes back. I emailed hp support and they always give me suggestions that i have already tried and stated in the email.

    2. no "microphone boost" option, right? ive seen threads but i just want to add that i emailed hp about this issue, saying what i have tried, and suggesting that an Conexant Audio driver update may solve the problem by enabling that mic boost option. Yet, they still give the suggestions that i have already tried and stated.

    3. is there a way to disable or toggle the internal mic thats located on top of the screen?

    4. is there a way to manually turn off the monitor, without having to goto power saving options?

    Thanks
