The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have recently loaned a 8530W demo machine from HP. This was because of the whining issues with the 6930p so they are letting me decide between the various versions of the Elitebook for an exchange. It seems that there are lots of questions regarding these machines, but relatively little information provided by end users (all of the details online seem to be from "expert reviews").

    I don't have time to do a complete review at the moment, but I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. :)
