Just to make sure I'm thinking straight. Would there be any problem with me hooking up my HPdv5t Intel 1680x1050 resolution laptop with hdmi to this 24in HP w2408h monitor and getting the monitor's full 1920x1200 resolution? I know its refurb'd, but I think I can live with that.

It has a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS vid card.

Is the video card the only thing that effects this?

    Thanks, rockers.
