    Quick Launch Buttons don't work

    wow, i can't find a solution for this age old problem. i installed the newest drivers from hp (6.50.9.1), didn't help. uninstalled them, installed 6.50.7.1, didn't work.

    that and i've been getting that system sound you get from plugging in or unplugging a USB-device, even though i'm not doing that (know what i'm referring to?)

    Did you disable the "com4qlbex" service?

    oddly enough, after uninstalling the Quick Launch Buttons last night and shutting down, they work this morning. LOL.

    just thought i'd make a note about the USB plugged/unplugged sounds going off like crazy. turns out i needed to load the driver for the JMicron Card Reader.
