    Hi

i am planning to buy a dv2000t laptop. I live in MA and i'm a college student. At the very end, HP tells me i have to pay $60 in taxes. Is this normal? i mean dell's small business also charges taxes, but as a home user, do i still have to pay taxes?

oh and i'm using the APP.

Yes, you have to pay taxes in any state where a company has a "presence" when you are buying online. So for instance, if buying a Dell in Texas then you pay taxes because Dell is located there. As far as HP having some type of office in MA, I don't know, but it seems that is the case.

The last time I checked, I didn't have to pay taxes with Cosctco...
