So while I was taking apart my HP envy 14 1000 edition, I accidently tore the ribbon cable that connects the keyboard and to the motherboard to power the backlights.

Now I didn't look at the keyboard closely before putting it back together, but can I replace just the ribbon? or can I order just the keyboard (will that include the backlight ribbon as well)? or do I have to order a whole new piece (palmrest, keyboard etc).

    Thanks!
