If your warranty runs out while HP is still repairing your laptop, will you get charged for the service once it expires? I'm currently getting my Envy 14 repaired (at no cost) and my Accidental Damage Protection expires in 5 days.. I really don't want to get charged ~$350 for the repair.
Thanks in advance

No, they should honor the warranty since you made the claim and they accepted it while it was still under warranty.
You may be able to get an extension to that warranty for a price, you must apply for it Before it expires, call HP soon. -
thats correct yes. if you do wish to extend, it MUST be done before you lose all warranty. they won't renew it if its out, so bear that in mind.
good luck! -
Don't forget to check with your credit card that you used to purchase your computer: you might have a free warranty extension for up to one year.

No, you will not be charged if the warranty runs out while its being repaired. As long as you called in for the repair before the warranty expired your good to go!! Also, I believe you have 30 days to renew a warranty once it expires (at least that's how it works on HP business class equipment). I'm not 100% positive so I would call HP to verify. I only repair HP equipment, don't really deal with the warranty aspect of it.
