Hello,
I have a HP dv8000. I recently had to reformat and reload
Windows and Quickplay. I went through the whole routine
of formatting the first partition with XP and left a 204Meg Partition
for QuickPlay. It installed fine. It even launches ok, but some of
the buttons are not working.
When I press DVD the Laptop boots to Quickplay and starts playing
the DVD, but I have no control of volume. The volume buttons do not
work at all and the center mute button stops the movie.
Buttons on the remote are the same way. The DVD will start the laptop,
but sound, stop, forward won't work.
Is there a way to configure these buttons from within Quickplay?
Patches or updates?
Thanks

Quickplay without windows.
but on a side note, from within windows, the buttons work fine. -
well there are updates for quickplay but dunno if they will do anything, you go into windows launch quickplay and search for updates.
