I just noticed that my blue QP button was not launching QP, but all other buttons were working fine - like it was starting QP-DVD fine, and other media buttons, just not QP. (My blue volume mute button is stuck anyway, it doesnt turn orange, and I had no sound on pressing vol buttons, but thats not the problem) I tried the remote control too. I pressed QP button on express card remote control, and same thing, so I went ahead and uninstalled QLB from control panel. Now the interesting part is, after uninstalling QLB and restarting, I still have all blue-lit buttons functional, including QP-DVD, but not QP button itself. From remote control, all buttons except QP, DVD and WMC are working and thats after uninstalling QLB. I cant understand what is happening here. Any help please??

I had been using 6.40 E1 drivers from HP site, and I just installed 6.40 B1 version and this seem to have solved the problem. Wow, reverting back to older version did the trick. Not only QP button is working, but the touch sound also came back.

Its not your Quicklaunch buttons. Reinstall your audio drivers.

Windows update probably installed the wrong drivers. Do not install drivers offered by Windows update.

Install Cyberlink DVD program into this directory

    "C:\Program Files\HP\QuickPlay"

-The default installation path in the setup will have a "\Cyberlink" (or something similar) which will create a separate folder, which we don't want. Your paths might vary, please change it accordingly if necessary

Now Rename the main .exe to DVDP.exe. This will launch Cyberlink instead of QP DVD player.

Now test it out by using either the mini remote or the QLButton

Here is the driver download page off HP's website for a HP Pavillion dv6768se Notebook: Click here
Just select your operating system, then audio drivers are right at the top. I downloaded the latest Conexant one after a clean install and it works fine, not sure if you need both though, maybe someone else can chip in on that.
