I have successfully reinstallled windows xp pro and following the guide I installed quickplay direct. I have 3 partitions one contain windows xp and other automatically created quickplay partition (1 Gigs) and the last one remained unallocated. I then boot my notebook from the media button and it booted successfully in QuickPlay.

The problem started when I installed Windows Vista on my other partition. After that QuickPlay does not work. I tried reinstalling quickplay and it removed my vista partition and installed quickplay on the 1gigs again.

I think I read somewhere that quickplay need 1 gigs partition on the partition no.2 . I think my vista installed on parition 2 so thats why quickplay did not boot.

So can anyone tell me if there's anyway I can set partition number manually myself so I can set windows xp on partition 1, quickplay on partition 2 and vista on partition 3. All my partitions are primary.

    Thanks in advance.

This is most probably due to the fact that Vista replaces the MBR with its own and sine it is only capable of seeing MS products, kills your Quickplay settings.
