I did a clean install on my DV6700t but the HP QuickPlay doesn't work correctly after that.

    1. Touching on the QuickPlay button above the keyboard doesn't turn it on.

    2. But touching on the DVD button next to to the QUickPlay button would launch the DVD function.

    3. The mute button doesn't produce any beep sound when touched.

I was looking for the C:/SWsetup/QPL folder. But to no avail.

I try what was suggested in that post before I started this thread. This is really strange as my SWSetup doesn't have the QPL folder.

My SWSetup doesn't have the QPL folder too. I have QLB and QPW but not QPL .

    Thanks in advance.

Mine has only QPW. Another non-relevant folder which starts with Q is QTouch.

The correct folder is c:\SWSetup\QPW not QPL. You can always download the QPW software from the HP Driver Downloads for your notebook.

    QPW (QuickPlay Windows)

I never had a QLB folder in my SWsetup folder. Wonder why not??
