Has anyone reinstalled DV1000 OS from XP Home to Pro and QuickPlay? I couldn't do it by following the instructions. Emailed HP tech support and they couldn't give much help. They even required me to reinstall the WinXP Home then QuickPlay.

Anyone reinstalled QuickPlay please share your experience here. thanks,

dv1000, I'm having the same problem. I reinstalled WinXP and now I can't install QuickPlay. When I try to install it I get "There is insufficient hard drive space or you are attempting to install QuickPlay on an unsupported notebook". [ :(] Please I really need some help.

    Thanks in advance.

I think my QuickPlay installation CD it's wrong. I tried to open E:packageSetup.tgz and I got that the file can't be unpacked cause "the file is corrupt"

Could someone check if it's possible to open this file without problems? If it's not corrupt could you try to give a link to download it.
