    Quicklaunch buttons not working

    I own an HP DV2000 laptop and I attemped to update my quicklaunch buttons so that they would not have to launch windows in order to play a movie.

    Somewhere between installing windows updates, hp updates and new versions of quickplay, the quicklaunch buttons on my laptop now do nothing. I can push them and the computer displays the hourglass icon for a few seconds but nothing happens. I tried using system restore but to no avail. Can anyone help me?

    reinstall it through the C:/SwSetup qlb folder. it is impossible to watch a movie without having windows launched on vista.

    I attempted to re-install quickplay using this method but no luck.
