The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Quickplay applet in XP?

    I reverted my dv6275us to xp, all the quickplay buttons work fine, my questions is, after reading a few threads, people mention an applet to adjust the button functions?....... :confused:

    I don't have anything in the startmenu or the control panel.....am I missing something?

    You will need the older version of the Quicklaunch buttons software(6.00.702). Newer versions dont have the option to change the button functions.
