i use to have Quickplay work on my notebook... now, whenever i press Quickplay or the DVD button, it shows the Windows Log-in screen... do i have to re-install the driver?

i just want to know if anyone experienced this and re-installed qp drivers.

    thanks!

Looks like something's messed up with your boot manager. Try reinstalling the Quickplay direct feature. You might need to clear out the existing QP partition of files, but try reinstalling it before depeting the stuff inside the QP partition.

i'll try that when i got home tonight... i was thinking if the WinFlash F.18 affected my quickplay boot?!? hmm...

my quickplay still works when you're inside windows though.

BIOS update usually should not wreck QP. I have updated the BIOS on my V3000 and QP functioned as before. If you had installed any other OS or partitioned the HDD, then that usually will kill QP.

The QP(Windows) is a separate progrma from QP direct, so what happens to one does not affect the other.
