The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Quickplay help please

    I am a happy owner of a dv2000t which I got two months ago. The Quickplay buttons sounded like a great feature but I can't get them to work. I haven't been able to play music with Quickplay without booting the whole thing up. I've moved my mp3 files into My Computer>Shared Documents>Shared Music just like it says but none of my music shows up. It does, however, show up when my computer is booted up. What am I doing wrong?
