Both laptops with the radeon 9600 have been removed from the HP lineup. Is this because they just ran out of the Radeon 9600 chip or is it because they are preparing for a new release? I just ordered a R3000T with the radeon on the 30th of September. So I'm really going back and forth whether I should return it if they're just going to come out with something better in a week or two for a similar price.

I can't comment precisely on what notebooks will be announced, but HP will be releasing new notebooks in the next few days/weeks to replace current notebooks. The HP zd8000, Compaq X6000, HP ze4900 and Compaq B2000 should be out soon.
