    I have the 15.0TFT screen and would love to move up to 15.4 TFT WXGA or better....will Compaq do this?[?]

    only if you buy a new computer. The entire case of the computer is a different size so you can't do an upgrade. Even if they were the same size I don't think they would install a new screen.

    the physical dimensions of the Rseries are the same, even between 15inch and 15.4WXGA

    try finding one on ebay!
