This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    For anyone who, like me, grabbed one of these notebooks during the recent sale, the Speedbooster wlan upgrade is a download on the site; a fact not mentioned anywhere in the documentation. link>http://www.hp.com/united-states/wireless/hsm_download.html

    Interesting. I got my R3000z in August, and I had a special piece of paper included in my documentation, instructing me to go download this upgrade from the HP site. Maybe they forgot to put one in for you?

    I did not see any reference when I got my zv5000z in the end of august. Maybe they include that standard with the OS now?
