    R4000 Battery life question?

    Im thinking about purchasing a R4000 with the 4000+ processor what can i expect from the 12 cell battery. some people say 4 hours others say 2hours can someone give me an honest answer and i mean while using word wireless and internet. medium brightness?

    I have a zv5000z which is similar and I get around 3 hours at max. If you use the hard drive alot while doing your stuff, the battery life will decrease to about 2.5 hours. Gamingwise, you should get 1-1.5 hours at max.

    Optical drive is also very power hungry, more than the hard drive. I've heard about three and half hours if you are not doing anything too intensive like surfing and/or office.

    Yeah, 3 - 3.5hrs is about right for the 12 cell for general use; gaming, burning & other such activities might reduce it to around 2hrs.
