    Hello ALL:

I had called HP and they have no idea what I am talking about! I have an R4000 and plan on using it in our RV. While driving, I was wondering if they make a DC power cord that goes into the 12V plug? I can use an inverter, but from the AC charger it looks like it takes >150 Watts. That seems very high for a laptop and wonder just what is needed to run/charge it. I also assume that if I start with a charged R4000 that a small inverter may be just fine, but, again, I have no idea how much this takes to run. Without hooking a large inverter to the battery, the dash 12VDC socket is rated at 15A max.

    Thank you for any help.
