I installed Age of Mythology, one of many video games I like to play, only to find that it stretches the game to fit the 1280x800 resolution. Any tips or suggestions to get video games to display in the correct aspect ratio?

You should be able to modify the Advanced Display Properties so that it doesn't stretch the screen. It should be under one of the ATI Tabs. By doing so, you will get black bars on the edges of the screen.
