Can someone please give me the specs of the standard RAM used in the DV2000t? Also how much memory does the motherboard on it support?

I think they use PC4200, but it can support PC5300, DDR2 of course.

Thanks. I've been looking at RAM and I'm not sure which is better. PC4200 is a slower speed but with a lower latency and higher price than PC5300.

Is the slower clock speed with a lower latency actually faster than the higher speed stuff?

The performance difference between the 667 Mhz and 533 MHz RAM is practically nothing. The higher latency of the 667 MHz slows it down a little, but the lower frequency of the 533 Mhz, prevents it from taking a lead. So, they perform very similarly.
