the RAM for the new dv8000t series shows as 533 MHz, but on newegg.com, there are two types: 4200 and 4300. Would anyone be able to tell me which one it is for the 8000t? I am ordering one tomorrow, and although I won't get it for WEEKS (seems that it takes a whole!) I would like to have some extra RAM put in when I get it.

Any suggestions as to which BRAND of RAM to get?

    Thanks!

Is the processor Intel? If so I got this for my v4000t here. Haven't had any problems with it.

I'm ordering an Intel Core Duo 1.66... so, yes, Intel based! :) Thanks for your reply! :)
