Im still waiting for my 2x2gb 667 to arrive but i noticed something weird with the standard 2gb

I ran CPU-z and it only shows my ram clock speed running at 333mhz and when i went to the RAM info tab it shows my ram is a PC 5300 333mhz. I would have thought it would be a 667mhz as it says on the box.

    Any ideas why?

That doesnt sound right. It shows on the individual ram info as PC2-5300 333mhz, it should be 667. When you purchase individual ram it comes in different clock speeds such as PC2-5300 (533/667 or 800 mhz).

The total clock frequency still shows 332.5mhz under stress loads

bro, DDR = double data rate

    meaning 667 = 333 x 2
