    I realised it's quite soft, is there anyway I could boost the volume?

    No worries. Not every owner's threads have a first page that has info like that. Plus when you log in and click on a thread, it takes you to the latest post and not the first in the thread.

    I am guessing that boost applies for the in-built speakers only right?

    I find the output from the headphone jack to my ATH-M50 to be pleasing as is.
