As i fired up my dv6t quad today, I got the option to install a Radeon 6770 update. There was no information about it, and it was just an optional update.

My question is, does the update actually do anything (nothing is listed in the info)? And does it do anything about the switchable graphics?

    Thanks for the help

Did the update offer any fruit?
Switchable graphics or Support for OpenGL?

I saw the update too, but I didn't download/install it because based on my experience, the windows update drivers are usually a few releases behind current ones, and I couldn't find any information about it either. Anyone else have any info?

I just ignored it. It's from 6/23 so I'm sure it dosen't have openGL support.

If it is an issue, you can always check the corresponding Microsoft bulletin for the details (driver version, fixes, etc...).
