Any dv6t or dv7t owners equipped with a 6770 played around with HDMI out yet?

I have some questions for you! :)

    1. What resolutions are available for HDMI in Catalyst Control Center? (1900x1200?)

    2. Is HDMI image quality suitable for text (web, spreadsheets, etc)? I've heard text can be blurry over HDMI on other systems.

    3. How does it compare to VGA out on a nice LCD monitor?

The spec sheet from ATI/AMD indicates the 6770M supports 1920x 1200 max over HDMI. This is my ideal resolution for for general use on an external monitor, but I will definitely need to dial it back for games.

I was curious what all resolutions are supported on HDMI, what looks good, etc., and if I'll have to resort to analogue VGA to accomplish my goals.

    Thanks in advance!

From the lack of replies, I guess this is a pointless question?

I can't answer for the specific card, but at least 1280x720 and 1920x1080 should be available.

This really depends on the monitor or TV. Make sure that your screen has a 1:1 pixel mapping mode.

My TV doesn't have a 1:1 mode for HDMI. The HDMI signal is generally cleaner than VGA, but VGA on my TV has perfect pixel mapping but with a bit of noise. Colours for some reason were also a bit better on HDMI with VGA looking a bit green.
