I have a hp hdx9000t cto. It comes with 2 120gb hard drives but they are not set up in a raid config. I would like to reformat the hard drives and install windows on a Raid 0 config. My question is does anybody know where or how to get raid drivers for this pc. Or is it possible to just install windows on 1 drive and then set up a software raid 0 after? Any help will be appreciated.

Chipset doesn't support RAID of any kind. It's ICH8M. It would have to be ICH8M-R to support hardware RAID.

Software RAID is generally not the best solution. But of you have VISTA ultimate or business, you can set up a dynamic disk which sets up both drives as one continuous volume like RAID 0 stripped.

okay thanks. It comes with Vista Ultimate. I think I will just set up a dynamic disk then.
