    Hi, i have a dv 2700t se with a t9300 processor. Now, the processor fsb is 800 mhz. why is my 3 gigs of ram only running at 667 mhz? if i buy 800 mhz ram, would it take advatage or just revert back to 667?

    That's because your laptop only support up to 667GHz of RAM Buss Speed. The processor Bus speed is not the same as the RAM Bus. Your laptop is using only the Buss speed it's capable of.

    Yeah, the chipset supports max 333MHz for the RAM. But the RAM has greater bandwidth due to the 200MHz FSB.
