    Random device connection on dv7-1273cl

    Small nuisance, but I though someone else might know what's going on.
    Every so often, I get the device connect notification sound. Nothing is being
    connected at the time. I'm only using a usb Microsoft mouse and a usb powered Belkin laptop cooler. Funny thing is I never get a random disconnect
    notification. Otherwise this laptop is working perfectly.

    I'm about to turn off the notification sound unless someone has a solution.

    Funny, I have exactly the same issue with my 1273cl. Doesn't seem to be a big a of a deal; no error messages on Vista, just the sound of device coming on or off..

    sooner than later we will find out...
