i m having 2x512mbram, i would like to buy a 2gb/4gb thumb drive which support readyboost. but i dun noe how much it will affect with my system's speed.can anyone give me any opinion?

I find it doesn't do diddly except speed up your sidebar loading a teeny weeny bit. I'll give them credit though, they found a way to make all of these low capacity usb keys useful. I have piles of them laying around. Now if they would just come out with Readyboost 2.0 so I can use multiple ones.

ReadyBoost was a good idea, but as of this writing the implementation is very poor and there is no clear advantage for newer computers. I'd rather see you put your $$ into some RAM in our RAM Deals thread to get a much better increase in speed for the same price.
