Sometimes, I dont feel like turning off my computer to allow the auto-updates to finish. So, windows trys to turn off my computer every 5 minutes. I turned off the updates, and viola, no more problem. BUT, seems as if windows has played around with my touch pad, as all of a sudden its really sensitive to the tapping feature - and I dont even have it turned on! But somehow, it has turned on. Its happened a few other times, and each time under the same circumstances. Has anyone else had this problem? btw, the reason why I dont turn it off right away is because I have a ton of spread sheets and word docs opened at the same time and its a pain to save and close each one...

I have a zv6000 and I have not had this problem. Go to www.notebookanalysis.com and maybe they can help you. This is a site that is solely devoted to the HP zv6000 and its twin the Compaq R4000.
