I just updated my Realtek HD audio driver via their site.

The update installed correctly to my knowledge- the problem was with the HP Quicktouch buttons. Visually, the buttons do not change color (mute) when touched. There may be more problems with them that I have not yet noticed.

    Any suggestions?

    Re-installing quickplay/quicktouch?
