    Hey guys,

    Just hopping online to send a praise over to HP for the notebook I just received. Got the dv6500t, and absolutely loving it. Just got done installing the Half Life 2 Holiday Pack, and ran CounterStrike Source at 75fps :), not bad considering all the criticism I heard over the 8400 GS. Anyways just transfered my 40 gig of music, over and absolutely loving it, just thought I'd hop online to encourage the forums as well as any prospective buyer, the laptop is absolutely great, runs smooth and love it. This may belong in another thread, as it's not a really an "issue" but just thought i'd encourage the board, change the pace up a bit. Oh and thanks for all the help with the questions early on!

    Oh gosh, ordered about a week and a half ago? Two weeks max, came in before the expected shipping (from factory) date

    hey congrats...i just got my dv6500 also!

    i had a problem running counterstrike 1.6 though. after i join a server and pick a team, my mouse doesn't function in aiming. like..any movement just results in the reticle pointed straight up (towards the ceiling), and i acnt move it down unless i press the pg down button. this problem is also present when i use the touchpad. needless to say..i can't play cs :(

    u dont have problems with ur cs right? did u have to do any fixes or did it work straight after installatino?
