    Are there any in particular that fit the hp/compaq 14" widescreen notebooks well?

    The Antec product should be perfect, and the price is right. There are many though.

    I am using the Antec for my DV4000. It is probably even better for DV1000 as the smaller footprint. Nevertheless, the price is right only when it was on sale. It has been on sale several times within the last few months for $10-$15after rebate or instant discount. The $30-$40 full price isn't right for me. :eek:

    The Vantec Lapcool series will fit the V2000 well. About an inch total hangs off to the sides because of the widescreen dimensions.
